Mr. O’Riordain is a Consultant General Surgeon with specialist interests in Colorectal and Gastrointestinal Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Laparoscopic (Keyhole) Surgery and Day-Care Surgery.
 
Mr. O’Riordain trained in Surgery in Ireland and at some of the leading academic medical centres in the United States including The Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He was Consultant Surgeon at St. James’s University Hospital in Leeds from 1998 before returning to Ireland in 2001 to take up his current post of Consultant Surgeon at the Adelaide and Meath Hospital in Dublin.
