Dr Lewis Winning provides the periodontal service for patients referred to the Beacon Dental Clinic, at the Beacon Consultants Clinic.
The periodontal service is comprehensive & includes the assessment of individualised patient needs. Patients are referred from General Dental practices for assessment of periodontal disease and patient clinical suitability for the placement of dental implants. Patient assessment includes the comprehensive clinical assessment, the use of radiological diagnostics & dental scanning (where indicated) to fully assess each patient’s clinical needs.
Individualised treatment planning is essential to patient care. The service includes the management of periodontal disease, comprehensive assessment of patient suitability for dental implant placement, bone grafting (where indicated) & dental implant placement.
Patient treatment can be carried out using local anaesthesia with or without conscious sedation.
